Making Up My Mind on Cal's Type

There's still tons of snow; but at least the sun is out today! Hooray.

I always feel like it takes one whole year (at least) to get back in the groove after having a baby. Today marks half way to the new normal! Happy six months old Baby Cal.

You are finally sprouting a little hair. Nice yellow peach fuzz.

You are rolling and scooting everywhere. You don't stay on a blanket anymore. You LOVE to watch your older siblings and get in on the action of whatever they're doing.

You love people! They make you wiggly-excited, like you have ants in your pants. Happy ones. Whenever someone looks at you, you beam. You have round apple cheeks, a button nose, a happy smile that starts out crooked and turns way up at the edges. When you jabber at people you raise your eyebrows as if you have something terribly exciting to share. I have decided that you are a Type 1. No idea what your secondary is....a 2 maybe? But I'm going with a Type 1 as your dominant energy.

That puts all the energy levels completely equal at our house. Two of each.

Type 1s: Adelia (1/3) and Cal (1/?)
Type 2s: Aaron (2/3) and Ollie (2/1)
Type 3s: Krystal (3/2) and Ruby (3/1)
Type 4s: Lincoln (4/1) and Ivan (4/2)

Ruby loves her Cal-Ner (that's what she calls him, Cal-ner, we think it's a slur of Cal Tanner), she especially likes to do things that are helpful: run for the burp cloth, or a diaper, hand Cal a toy, talk to him in the car (they sit next to each other). She's been very concerned about his rolling over, she gives him a funny look and tries to "help" him by flipping him back over onto his back. He usually screams. :)
