Usually Aaron and I team up to bathe the kids. We put them all three in together, one of us washes, and the other one dries and gets jammies on. The other day, bath night fell on mutual night, which meant that Aaron went caroling with the young men/young women and I had to give baths by myself. (Aaron did take Lincoln caroling with him, so I only had two, not so bad.) When I'm bathing them by myself, I usually like to do it one at a time.
This particular night, Ivan was being a very slow eater, so I took Adelia upstairs and plopped her in the tub, and she had a long stretch of being able to play in there by herself. It was funny to just sit there and watch and listen to her play. She picked up the toy moose, and started saying, "Moose! Moose!" while pretending to have the moose run up and down the sides of the bath tub. It reminded me so much of how I used to play as a kid. Making animals move around, and actimg out little scenarios with them. My boys have never played like that.
It was so cute, I decided to take a video. But before you watch the video, be forewarned, that although I did my best to keep her modest, there is a couple seconds where she stands up at the end. So if you have a problem with naked babies, you probably shouldn't watch the video.
