Adelia's Farm Country Field Trip

I've never gone with Adelia on one of her Kindergarten field trips because usually the rule is that siblings aren't allowed to come. Just the Kindergartner and their parents. But for the Farm Country field trip, the teacher didn't have enough extra drivers to take all the kids whose parents couldn't make it. I told her I'd be willing to bring Adelia if I could bring my other kids as well, and she agreed. :)

Aaron also agreed to work from home this morning so that Rue could stay with him, for which I was eternally grateful. Rue will be fun to take along in a couple more years. Ollie is old enough now, and Farm Country is small enough, that I didn't have to take the stroller. So I had a nice glimpse of what it will be like to be stroller free...like in a decade. Ha! But I'll take the glimpses when I can get them, it was so nice not to haul a stroller though the crowd.

We had a great time at Farm Country. The kids got to go on a pony ride. We saw all kinds of farm fowl. Including a peacock that put on a nice show of his feathers for us. We went on a tractor ride. And we took time to do some nature journaling.
