Do you ever have days where you just feel like a chicken in the rain? This picture just screams the phrase "wet hen". Haha! Our poor chicken. I don't know why it won't go get in it's coop.
I actually had a really good day today. Nothing spectacular happened or anything, but it was just a nice day. Aaron cleaned up the school room for me before work, and I think that helped tremendously. We had a really productive school day, which felt great.
One of the best parts of my day was listening to Lincoln practice his piano. Usually, he does his own thing and doesn't need my help, so I work on dishes or something in the kitchen while he practices. But today Rue was hungry, so I decided to sit in the front room and feed her a bottle while Linc was practicing. And I'm glad I did.
Linc seemed to enjoy the attention, for one. But it was just really fun to observe him, and listen to him while he explained what he liked about his songs, or something his teacher had told him to do. I love having piano music in my home. I wish I could be the one playing it, but I'm glad that my kids will learn, and can fill our house with the beauty of it.
