On Wednesday I hosted letter K preschool at my house. I think the kids had a good time. I had Aaron make me cardboard box with 3 letter K's on the flaps. For our first activity I had the kids make their arms and legs into a letter K, then they had to say k-k-kick! And karate kick one of the K flaps. They thought this was hilarious.
Then we went to the table and did a K cutting sheet, and some kite crafts. I like to see how different the craft comes out, based on the different personalities of the kids.
After the craft, we played kangaroo tag, which is basically just normal tag, except you have to hop like a kangaroo. :) Yup, I made that one up all by myself.
Then we went back to the kitchen to make our snack...fruit kabobs. I think this was the kids' favorite part, they spent the rest of the time until their parents came making and eating these cool K creations.
And of course, Adelia didn't want to miss out on any of the action. So here she is with her banana. I didn't so much trust her with a pointy stick...just sayin'.
And our letter K art. The kids and I did this after the preschoolers went home.
