Krystal is Dominant Type 3

I decided to go through my It’s Just My Nature book, and make a bulleted list for each person in our family of the characteristics they have of each of the four Types. I thought having this visual would be interesting and telling. I am going to do one post per family member so that it’s not a gigantic long post. I’ll go oldest to youngest. :)

Krystal – I have decided that my secondary is either a 2 or a 4. Based on this list it should be a 4, but after watching a lot of video clips, and reading examples on The Carol Blog, I actually feel like I identify more with the 2 as my secondary. But the jury is still out.

Type 1

  • You have a tendency to give yourself excuses and make up stories as to why you could not follow through.
  • A Type 1 voice is a higher pitch and can even sound squeaky.

  • Comfort as their number one priority when it comes to choosing an article of clothing

  • You like to be emotionally connected with people, placed, or things. Sentimental.
  • You tend to be on time due to your ability to make a plan and stick to it.

Type 3

  • Results are a priority in how you approach life. Action that creates results and change are important to you.
  • Your motive in your actions is to create a result that sets an impression that remains a long time. Ironically, you are not innately motivated to do what you do to impress others.
  • When you have your mind set on your results, your inner mantra is to do whatever it takes and you are willing to roll up your sleeves, get to work, and just get things done.
  • Willing to burn the candle at both ends.
  • Type 3 energy have the capacity to burn ourselves out more quickly than any other energy type, due to our swift, determined movement, which is fueled by our pronounced, substantial energy output.
  • Type 3 energy love finishing things they start. You actually only start something that you are motivated to finish, so you can experience the result of your actions. And you don’t just start one thing. You have the capacity to push several things along at a time and make sure they all get done.
  • A typical morning would look like this: taking a shower, starting to get dressed, abruptly stopping to make the bed, moving to the kitchen to start loading the dishwasher, back to dressing, abruptly moving to the bed again, kitchen, dressing, -- keeping a lot of plates spinning until all the tasks are finished.
  • If you traced a Type 3 movement, it would look like a lot of intersecting lines making geometric shapes, fast angles, and compartments.
