Adelia is a Dominant Type 1

I decided to go through my It’s Just My Nature book, and make a bulleted list for each person in our family of the characteristics they have of each of the four Types. I thought having this visual would be interesting and telling. I am going to do one post per family member so that it’s not a gigantic long post. I’ll go oldest to youngest. :)

Adelia- Adelia is so strongly Type 1, that sometimes I wonder if she even has a secondary. She does, everyone does, but it’s going to take me some more time to figure it out.

Type 1

• Bouncing Ball
• People can see the bounce of the ball in your movement from point A to point B
• Facial feature is a circle
• Constant challenge is execution
• Everyone’s best friend, always a pleasure to be around
• You like change and new experiences.
• You talk readily and easily to people.
• You do not like to be alone. You like company and amusement.
• Carefree.
• Sadness does not last long, and gives way quickly to happiness
• You like to talk, chitchat, and enjoy verbal interaction while doing things.
• You can often interrupt or jump from topic to topic when you are in the middle of a conversation because you process information so much fast than other people do.
• You speak what you are thinking almost instantly.
• You are frank, talkative, social, and your emotions are readily expressed.
• You seek a wide and broad range of friendships. You are not selective or exclusive. You are not insistent upon acceptance of your ideas or plans. You agree readily with others’ wishes, being compliant and adaptable.
• You readily make acquaintances with other people. You are very communicative, loquacious, and associate easily with strangers.
• At social gatherings, the best part for you is bouncing from room to room and person to person.
• You walk with a buoyant, bouncy spring in your step.
• You sit and stand with a lot of movement, shifting positions often. You can appear to be restless and fidgety to others, as you do not like to sit or stand still, focusing on one thing for very long.
• A Type 1 voice is a higher pitch and can even sound squeaky.
• Face shape: circular or heart-shaped.
• Cheeks: apple cheeks
• Nose: a turned up nose
• Eyes: Round, pop out, with a sparkle, or light in the eyes
