Lincoln and his friend Nathan at Lego Camp
So this week I feel like we've been running around all over the place, but really we've only been driving to Provo and back twice a day. Why? Because I found a free Lego Camp that Lincoln could participate in going on at the Provo Library, and I couldn't pass it up. :) He loved it. The camp was theme park themed, so every day the spent time making different rides. But I think Lincoln's favorite thing was this contraption (not sure what you'd call it) in the pic above. Basically the kids made a tower, and on the top of the tower was a spinny piece that connects to a motor. The kids taped pieces of paper onto the spinny piece. When you turn the motor on the spinny piece spins and turns the piece of paper. Then you take a marker and hold it on the paper and it makes a cool round design. Lincoln brought home tones of these, which is why I am guessing that it was his favorite part.
One day this week, I was putting Oliver down for a nap, Del informed me that she needed to put Nora down for a nap. (Nora is her baby doll.) And when I came out of Oliver's room, this is how I found Del and Nora. :) Snuggled up in my bed. Looks like Del fell asleep before she could get Nora to sleep. That's happened to me lots of times too.
On Thursday, Aaron had Elder's Quorum meetings. I was a bit frazzled and didn't really want to tackle the job of putting four kids to bed by myself. Linc stepped up to help me out. He read stories to Adelia while I put Ivan and Oliver to bed. Linc can be such a good helper sometimes, and I am so grateful for nights like this when he decides to help. I let him stay up later than the other kids and read his library books to let him know how appreciative I was of his help.
