Yesterday was Ivan's first soccer game. He's really excited to be playing this year, and even more excited that Aaron is his coach. He's on a team with a bunch of little boys from our ward, which makes watching the games fun for me too, because I know and can chat with the other parents. I'm hoping it helps us get to know some of the other families in our ward a little bit better, in a non-church setting.
Ivan did great. He's naturally pretty athletic, so his movements look smooth and comfortable. He's a little bit timid about taking the ball away from the other team, but I think he'll catch on quickly enough.
