Seven Years!

Our Seventh Year Postcard

Tonight Aaron and I celebrated seven years of marriage! Our actual anniversary was on the 6th but we held off the celebration until the weekend. :) Aaron's parents watched our kids, including Oliver, and Aaron and I had a night on the town. I put on makeup and everything.

Aaron took me to La Jolla Groves at the Riverwoods in Provo. It was such a cool restaurant. It's designed to look like your sitting in a grove of lemon trees. It's beautiful, and peaceful. The atmosphere was just really cool.

And the food was good too. Aaron had lemon chicken, and I had shrimp pasta. Both were excellent. We also ordered dessert, which is something we never do, but hey, it was our anniversary! Aaron got the chocolate mousse cake, and I got the molten chocolate cake. Aaron's looked better, but mine tasted divine.

It was a beautiful evening, and we were in no hurry, so after dinner we sat outside on the grass and listened to a band play. We took a lot of time getting our seven year postcard just right. It's a tradition we started on our honeymoon. However we celebrate on any given year, we take a picture of it with our feet in the frame. It's been really fun to look back at all the years.

I love being married to Aaron. We've had a fantastic seven years. He is the man of my dreams. He makes me happy is so many different ways. I hope I am as good to him as he always is to me. I love you Aaron Swan! Here's to another wonderful seven.
