As part of Art City Days, they have a children's parade. Thursday night we got together with some of the other moms and kids in the ward and decorated bikes, strollers, and wagons. Then this morning we all met up and walked a few blocks together to where the parade started. By the time we got there, Ivan didn't want to ride his bike anymore. But Lincoln did, and I think they all had fun. Especially at the end when they got a ribbon, a snow cone, and a candy bar for participating.
After the Children's Parade, we went over to the art museum, where they had about 20 booths set up with a different children's art project at each booth. I didn't get any pictures, because all my attention was focused on directing three small children through a large crowd and helping them with their art projects. I think they had fun.
We didn't do all the booths because we left early to go to our homeschool group's park day. We are going to go camping with the group later in July. We're leaving Adelia with Ryan and Melissa and taking the boys. It'll be they're first experience camping. Wish us luck!
