Watermelon Baby

Tonight was the night! We have a tradition that when I get pretty close to done being pregnant we paint my tummy to look like something amazing. It's a lot of fun. Aaron is the master artist, I just get to hold still and watch. :)

Here's the basic idea, without the finishing touches.

What would it be like if you could take a piece out and check on the baby?

Then there's the occasional craving...

Looks good hu?

People might think we're weird, but I have so much fun doing this. I look forward to it every pregnancy, and Aaron and I have fun together trying to decide what to paint next.

Here's all three together so you can compare and vote on your favorite. Lincoln is the basketball, Ivan is the Nemo fish, and obviously, Adelia is the watermelon.

Good job guys!!! Oh, and I meant to comment on your nursing post. that is a cute idea about the nursing box. I hope you can enjoy it this time. I LOVE nursing. Don't get me wrong, it is STINKING HARD and time consuming and your right, the other kids run wild, but if you push past 3 months, that's when it becomes enjoyable in my mind because 1. the baby is good at it. 2. you are good at it (so you don't have to be sitting there making sure they don't choke, I even get up while nursing and get willima a snack :) and 3. the baby loves you so much a smiles and you and touches your face and it is just precious. Especially with it being your third, nursing might one of the only times you get to sit there and cuddle your sweet little baby. I hope it goes well for you, but if not, don't beat yourself up! Formula babies are great babies too :) (I always give my babies at least a bottle a day, I never have enough milk!)

Oh how cute! I really like the Nemo one. I didn't know Aaron was such a good artist. The watermelon one was way cute too, but how could you ever go wrong with basketball???
