Seven Peaks!

A little while ago Aaron's brother Ryan and Ryan's wife Melissa, started a photography business. They had Aaron help make a website for them. It's an awesome site. Aaron did a fantastic job on it. You can check it out http://www.flo-foto.com/. Because of Aaron's help, tonight they treated our family to Seven Peaks Water Park.

The non-pregnant adults (everyone but me) took turns on a double tube going down all the big slides. Those not taking a turn hung out with Lincoln and Ivan and I in either the wave pool, the kiddie play area, or the lazy river.

My kids love Uncle Ryan and Aunt Melissa (Linc calls her Wissa). They get so excited every time they see them, and were really excited that we got to go swimming with them today. Ivan (who is usually terrified in public pools and will cling to me and me only with a death grip) even let Melissa hold him at the kiddie play area, and even when he saw me didn't reach for me or anything. He'd just lay his head down on Melissa's shoulder and snuggle with her. They are buddies.

Both my kids enjoyed the wave pool the best I think. Lincoln was all over it. He loved jumping into the waves, and letting the waves carry him. Ivan liked it too...but he wanted to be sitting on my lap (we stayed pretty shallow) while the waves hit him. But he would laugh and sometimes he'd bend over so the waves could break on the top of his head. It was funny.

Aaron took Lincoln on one of the bigger slides with the double tube. Linc thought it was great. Ivan was just content to play with the tube on dry ground. Aaron and Ryan went on some really big scary straight up and down slides together. Yuck! I'm glad Aaron had someone to go on those with him, because I would not, even if I wasn't pregnant. Those slides scare me. But we got to watch Aaron and Ryan go down the big Boomerang slide, and they looked like they really enjoyed themselves.

Here's a scary picture. I had no idea my stomach looked this big from the side. All I ever see is the top down view, and sometimes the frontal view if I'm looking in a mirror. It looks pretty funny and awkward if you ask me. :) No wonder I waddle when I walk. Good one for the memory books I guess. But I'll tell you what...I'd spend every day of the rest of this pregnancy floating in a pool at Seven Peaks if I could afford it. Being in the water felt SO NICE. The cool temperature was amazing for one thing, and the underwater weightlessness was fantastic.

Thanks Ryan and Melissa for the fun evening. We will miss you guys while you are away for a month!

I think you look adorable in that picture. Flaunt it baby! If people can't deal with pregnant bellies than they can go sit on a pin :)

Love the pictures. I know what you mean about being in the water. I swam laps a couple times a week when I was pregnant. The worst part was getting out of the pool and back to reality!!
