I have this weird obsession with family pictures. Whenever we add a new family member I can’t stand not to have them pictured with our family. I think this stems back to the fact that there is only one single picture of my parents and siblings and I all together. Just one. And I can’t bare the thought of something happening to someone in our family and not having a picture of us all together. I don’t know, it’s a weird tick of mine I suppose. But we get our family pictures taken as often as Aaron will let me.
And since Cal is here, we need to update, and get his cute face on the wall.

We went to Camera Shy again. The same as we did back in February, except they’ve opened an Orem location, so we went there instead of Lehi.
Ruby was such a stinker the whole time. She wanted to sit in one of the chairs, but the photographer wanted her to stand. They had a battle of wills, and Rue eventually won because time was ticking (you only get 45 minutes no matter how uncooperative your toddler is) and I asked the photographer could she please just arrange the picture around Ruby in the chair. By then Ollie was bored, and jealous of Ruby having everyone’s attention, so he started alternating between fits of tears and being goofy and wouldn’t stand in place or smile normally.
Miraculously, we ended up with a few great shot despite all the drama going on behind the scenes. I had the photographer take a few single shots of Cal as well so I can send out a birth announcement. They turned out so well. I love his eyes!
