Ogden Temple Open House

Today we got to head up north and go to the Ogden Temple Open House with my Mom, my brother Jackson and his daughter Emree, my Aunt Nan and Uncle Evan who are visiting from Missouri with their kids, Halee and her husband Aaron, Jed, Bowen, and Hayden, and my Granny Jan.

My kids were so excited to see inside a "real live temple". As we were sitting in the tabernacle waiting for the tour to start, Adelia looked back and me kind of worried and said, "Mom, are we getting married now?" I had to laugh. Then I asked her if she brought her husband with her, and she said no. So I told her she didn't have to worry about getting married today. :)

The temple (of course) was beautiful inside. My favorite part was the stained glass windows. Adelia liked "the sparkly white room that was all glittery and sparkly." Lincoln was impressed by the baptismal font. And Ivan walked through and counted how many pictures he saw of Jesus.  I love opportunities like today, where I can share something that is special and sacred to me with my children.
