This morning we all went to the Bean Museum on BYU campus. They've got a nice new building. Mostly the same animal collections from before, but put in nicer displays, so it feels more like a museum and less like a trophy room. My kids still liked the playroom the best.
In the afternoon we went to the Springville splad pad. It's always more fun when Daddy gets to come too. He plays and splashes with the kids (which I don't do) and they love to tease him. Especially Ivan, who kept sneaking up behind Aaron and dumping water on him. Then Aaron would chase him, catch him, and swing him back and forth under one of the fountains. They both thought it was hilarious.
I prefer to stick just my feet in and watch the babies splash. I was so proud of Ollie, he got in the splash pad all the way, and stayed there, for the first time. He and Abi had a blast in the little fountains. When I got too hot, I just picked one of them up and let them give me a wet hug, and then I was good to go for a little while longer.
After the splash pad, we went over to Chuck and Debbie's for a pizza party dinner and to celebrate Aneya's birthday. Here is Aneya blowing out her candles while most of her cousins watch.
