Jaker's Pumpkin Patch

We worked hard this morning. Aaron adjusted a few sprinkler heads, we helped a friend put in sod, we cleaned up the house...and then we needed a break. So we took the kids to Jaker's, a pumpkin patch across the main street from us. They have all sorts of awesome activities, corn sand box, giant straw bail mazes, straw pyramids, farm animals to pet, tractor ride, and slides...all for free. AND they have pumpkins for really cheap. Grandma and Grandpa Swan came with us for a little bit.

Tractor ride, Ollie was way too interested in the tractor to look at the camera.

Grandpa Swan and Ivan on top of the straw maze.

Lincoln and Ivan petting the donkey.

 Lincoln kissing the donkey. (j/k)

Linc and Del on the straw pyramid, Ollie and I watching from the ground.

Ivan running the top of the little straw maze.

At least Aaron was happy about this picture.

 Turkey in the straw.

Grandpa Swan and Adelia going down the slide.

 My monkey child.

The kids with their pumpkin selections. Aaron is holding Ollie's.

Rule at our house is that you can only pick a pumpkin you can carry out yourself. Lincoln is getting strong. He picked a $7 pumpkin, and our total for all four pumpkins was $12, if that tells you anything about the size of his vs. the size of everyone else's. He was really proud of himself too. :)

Me and my favorite gal.
