My Mother's Chocolate Valentine by Jack Prelutsky

I mentioned that we were working on memorizing a poem for Valentines Day. I promised my kids that anyone who could memorize it, would get a box of chocolate hearts on V-day as a reward. I'm happy to say that all the kids will get their chocolate hearts tomorrow when they wake up, because they can all recite the poem (more or less, I did take their age and skill level into consideration).
