Ivan and Kaitlyn pretending to be chickens.
For letter E, Suzy taught the kids about eggs. They got to put together an egg puzzle, and watch a hilarious music video about what came first, the chicken or the egg? The second time Suzy played it for the kids, she had them pretend to be chickens and strut around the living room, flapping their wings and bobbing their heads back and forth. So funny. :)
Ivan's favorite activity was finding all the paper eggs that Suzy had hidden around the room and matching them with another paper that had the same eggs on it. Ivan has always had a good eye for details and been very observant, so this activity was right up his alley.
For a snack, Suzy gave each kid a hard boiled egg. I don't think Ivan has ever peeled a hard boiled egg before, but Kaitlyn was a pro. Once the kids had the shells off (which was a great fine motor activity, btw) then they got to eat their eggs. Ivan decided that the yolk wasn't his favorite, but that the white of the egg was pretty good. He must get that from me, because those are my sentiments exactly. :)
