Ya, I know sorry, it's a picture of my feet. (I hate feet.) But it was the only way to show off the nail polish, which is AWESOME! My mother-in-law sent me this blue nail polish and an adorable blue baby blanket in the mail the other day, to help us celebrate our new little bun (coming March '09). You see, we Swans have a little superstition that if you want your baby to be a boy you paint your toe nails blue and hang up a blue blanket so that you can look at it every day and then at 20 weeks when you go in to find out the gender...it'll be a boy! If you wanted a girl you would do the same thing only pink. Call us crazy but it works. Sydni did it when she was pregnant with Zac, I did it when I was pregnant with Lincoln, so far it hasn't failed.
Don't worry, I'll be absolutely thrilled if it turns out a girl, it's not that I have anything against girls. I have just decided that we should have a boy this time. We already have all the clothes for a boy. Besides, Aaron is going to be doing his last year of school over the next year, and that means poor. Now, I don't know if ya'll have noticed but baby girls clothes are about 10 zillion times cuter than baby boy clothes, and they do have some pretty cute baby boy stuff out there. So I was thinking, why not wait until we are a little more established to have our girl and then our budget will be a little bit more flexible to shop for girl stuff! Besides if we have 4 or 5 boys before we have our girl then she'll always have someone to watch out for her. Yup, looks like I have this all figured out, ya know, since I have so much control and all :)

Don't wish too hard. I wanted all boys and I got mostly girls. I love them all and they have taught me so so so so much, but I was wishing for boys the whole time.
I love the superstition thing! I'll have to remember that next time a baby comes along!

awe i miss doing girly stuff with you! i painted my toes yesterday when kelly was over...it just wasn't the same :)
I have a feeling it's a boy, and so far I am 12 for 12 on guessing babies (my sisters and cousins) Don't ruin my perfect record :-)
Kind of funny, I was thinking you were probably getting a girl with the added sickness. I was just sicker with the girls than I was with the boys. But, who knows, we just know that whoever shows up this time will be perfect! Love you guys!
