Summer Birthdays

Adelia and Lincoln both celebrated birthdays in August. And Cal celebrated his in September.

Del turned 7 and got a pink guitar and some dress-ups. We went up the canyon and played in the stream with cousins. Later in the week Aaron and I took her to see the play Brigadoon at the Scera Shell Outdoor Theater.

Lincoln turned 10 (! how is that even possible?!) He got a bike and some snap circuits. He celebrated by having Grandma and Grandpa Swan and cousin Zac over for a Chinese dinner. Zac gave Linc a sage brush lizard and Linc was pretty thrilled to finally have a pet of his very own.

Gramma Tam and Papa Kerry gave Linc this awesome hammock. There will be trees to hang it from when we move to Elk Ridge, but for now Linc's come up with a solution.

Linc wanted Chinese food and strawberry cheese cake for his birthday dinner.

Cal turned 1 the day after we moved in to the Elk Ridge house! I can't believe this kid is 1 already. It doesn't seem like a year ago that I was canning peaches and putting myself into labor. :) "Late summer harvest" is what Cal's name means, and He Who Comes With the Peaches got to have Peach Kuchen for his birthday cake.
