We (and by 'we' I mean Aaron, I mostly watched and took artistic pictures to put on Instagram. Although I did help stain it.) worked really hard over Christmas Break and through some of January to get my Christmas present farm bench all done and ready for use.
It turned out so awesome! I love it with it's chunky wood, simple lines, and beautiful grain stained to a rich deep color. It is my style to a tee. And of course since it's handmade by Aaron it carries a sentimental value that is unmatched by many of the other pieces of furniture I own. (At my request, he even wrote me a note on the bottom of the bench and signed his name.) It makes my kitchen feel more homey. I can't wait to get the other bench and the table completed and have the whole set together.
And this child....thinks she's big enough to climb on tables now.
