This spunky, friendly, happy, sparkly, bouncy, talkative, talkative talkative girl has been waiting for-E-ver to be five. Today's the day!
She recently learned how to ride a "pedal bike" like a champ. So her Dad thought she needed her very own girl bike, instead of the boys' old hand-me-down one. We found this one at a garage sale, and whipped it into shape, and added a sweet basket and some fun streamers. Adelia loves it. :)
For her cake she wanted a round, three-layer chocolate cake with blue frosting on the outside, and white frosting with pink sprinkles on the top. Nothing particular. ;) I was happy to oblige. A round cake is wayyayayayayayay easier to make than a cake in some kind of shape. It looked cute, but it tasted even better! (Devil's food cake with cream cheese frosting, all from scratch.)
