Y

Ever since our very successful hiking trip up Rock Canyon, I've been feeling like we should tackle the Y. So today Mom and Kerry came down and we all gave it a try.

I forget how much I hate hiking trails like the Y trail. Steep the whole way, not gradual at all, and never levels off a bit to give you a break. But the scenery on the way up is breath taking, and today the weather was nice for hiking. So, now that I'm back on the ground, I can say that it was a pleasant trip! :) Really though, we had fun, even though it was hard and we had to takes lots of stopping breaks. The kids did great too.

A little over 6 years ago, Aaron proposed to me on a large rock 2/3rds of the way up the trail. We found the rock today and posed for the photo-op. I haven't hiked up to the Y since that night 6 years ago when we got engaged. :) Yay for us and our love rock!
